Fancy a challenging role as part of our Woodlands Committee….


1. RECRUITMENT OFFICER:

The successful applicant will actively seek ways to encourage new members and volunteers offering a variety of skill sets and are willing to support the Crick Woodlands Charity.



2. EVENTS LIASON:

Working with the Forest School, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, Scouts & Cubs,etc, the Outdoor Club, (plus any other events we may organise/facilitate e.g. beacon lighting) to manage health and safety policies,  ensuring provision of adequate facilities and harmonious engagement.


These are voluntary posts which play a vital role towards maintaining a sustainable management team of Committee members, volunteers and local service providers. For more information please contact our team.

From litter picking to pruning briars along the pathways, or even coppicing and pollarding to dead hedging and creating wildlife corridors.


Can you spare a few hours a week to help us?  


No previous knowledge is needed as you will be working alongside our regular volunteers and full training will be provided where necessary.


Retired and fancy getting involved?


We currently meet on a Wednesday morning at 09.30am at the Jubilee Wood container by the eastern path from the Jubilee Wood Car Park.


Week-end working


We are currently exploring the option of creating a working party to meet over the week-end, enabling more opportunities for volunteers to get involved at a convenient time. Please contact us if you would be interested. Thank you.
